On February 5, 1977, in the Chinese province of Jiangsu, Changpeng Zhao was born. His family moved to Vancouver, Canada, in 1989 after his father Shengkai moved there in 1984 to pursue a doctorate. The Zhao family was able to swiftly obtain visas and left China shortly after the Tiananmen Square massacre.

After leaving OKCoin, CZ started a business called Bijie Tech. This business offered Shanghai residents cryptocurrency exchange services. From 2015 to 2017, it continued to serve customers until one day, when all of Bijie Tech’s platforms and websites suddenly stopped working. The management did not provide any information or provide any clarification regarding the company’s disappearance. But after Bijie Tech passed away, Binance, a powerful organization, arose.

How Binance was formed
